Elden Ring has a Steam page

Normally, a previously announced game that gets a Steam page would not be news. But it’s close to coming out on a Thursday, and Elden Ring fans have suffered so much that any new reminder that the game is real will be lovely to hear. So yeah, FromSoftware’s upcoming dark fantasy epic has reclaimed its turf on Steam, and while you can’t pre-order just yet, you can still check out some lovely screenshots and enjoy some vibrant marketing copy.

“As you explore,” the store page says, “the joy of uncovering overwhelming and unknown threats awaits you that will lead to a great sense of accomplishment.” That sounds like a Soulslike affair to me! “A multi-layered story told in fragments”? Yes, that is Miyazaki’s touch. “Can you freely combine the weapons, armor and magic you equip”? The traditions established in Demon’s Souls are still alive!

Hyperbole aside, you won’t find much new information about the Steam store pageAlthough if you are very particular about where you buy your PC games, you can at least be sure that Elden Ring is coming to Steam. However, publisher Bandai Namco has used Valve’s platform for their PC releases for years, so even that shouldn’t be too surprising.

You can watch the trailer again for now.
