Life is Strange Remastered collection delayed to 2022

Turns out life will be a little less strange this September. Real life will still be weird, I have no doubt, but Deck Nine’s adventure dramas are spreading a bit. Weather Life is strange: true colors Still launching in September, the remastered collection scheduled for the end of the month is now being pushed back to avoid putting too much pressure on the development team. Now we can expect the remastered bits to arrive in early 2022. Another True Colors trailer will arrive tomorrow as well.

Deck Nine explains the reasons for the delay in their ad posting:

“Due to the ongoing challenges of the global pandemic, we want to alleviate any additional pressure on the Life Is Strange team by allowing more time between the release of Life Is Strange: True Colors and the Life Is Strange remastered collection. For this reason, we have made the difficult decision to delay the release of Life Is Strange Remastered Collection for all platforms. […] until early 2022 “.

Rather than launching the Remastered Collection in late September, Deck Nine says that the Wavelengths DLC for True Colors will be released on September 30. That bonus story will have you playing as Steph a year before protagonist Alex shows up in Haven Springs.

The Delux Edition of True Colors still includes the Remastered Collection games, Deck Nine says, and you’ll have access to them when they launch in early 2022.

Life Is Strange: True Colors, the newest of Deck Nine’s supernatural teen dramas, is still planned for September 10. Tomorrow they’ll reveal a “first look” trailer for the Wavelengths DLC, they say.
