Assassin’s Creed Valhalla Siege of Paris The Count of Paris | How to confront Odo
When you go to face Count Odo, you have two options: find Nolwenn, the smuggler, or choose a different path.
The different way is in the north of the city.
Use your Odin’s sight and look for a standard bearer with a key. This opens a door to a guard post that has a wire across the top leading to the palace walls.
Otherwise, talk to Nolwenn at the search marker.
She takes you through an underground tunnel that leads to the cellars of the palace. Either way, you will have a decent shot at all options in the future.
In the palace garden, there is a note that tells you that a servant in the eastern palace is hiding something.
Go to the eastern gardens and follow the maid up the nearby staircase and through the cellars.
Move the boxes down the hall and there’s a note next to it. Read it and it will tell you more about the matter of the maid and the jailer. Go to the next room and there is another note that tells you that the key to the underground tunnels is with the jailer, who is climbing the doors of the upper floor in the palace. If you go up the stairs next to the note, the jailer with the key is right outside where you come out, in the hallway with a couple more guards.
Steal it or attack it for the key, then you can go through the underground tunnel to the kitchen, which alerts you to a priest upstairs.
Go up there and you will have an encounter with the drunken priest in this part of the house.
Grab him some more wine from the wine at the table on the lower level of the room he’s in and he’ll give you the key to Odo’s bedroom where his wife is injured.
Exit the priest’s room and you’ll find the bedroom to your right on the balcony.
Talk to her there and use any of the dialogue options, although the charisma option adds some optional lines to the next scene. Whichever you choose, you will get a key to the shrine of Odo.
Talk to him there and you will have to fight regardless of which way you entered.
Should you return Bernard to Charles?
In the next scene, you have the option of turning Bernard over to Charles. The only consequence of the choice is a few lines of optional dialogue later, so you can choose the one you think is best for your game without too much worry.
Once you are done with the main story of the DLC, there is so much more to enjoy. Here’s how to complete the hidden quest in Roman Excavations.
Or if more boss fights are you’re after, this is where to find the Frankish Nobles.
