Ron DeSantis couldn’t be happier that cable news spends so much of his time in Afghanistan. The Governor of Florida is approving the fact that the rise of COVID in his state is worse, not better.
MSNBC host started mocking Republicans’ claims that their freedoms are being violated. “You know, Pee Wee football has a requirement that you wear something much heavier than a mask on your head and shoulders. Little league baseball requires anyone over the age of 6 to wear a mug. There are many things more invasive than a mask that people should do and they are not seen physically and verbally abusing other parents at school board meetings. “
Wallace then passed the embattled governor. Speaking directly to Florida residents, she remarked, “Your Governor’s Peacock took to Fox News and he’s, you know, showing off his pretty feathers as people and kids drop dead in his state. You know, it’s the biggest scandal in the country that governor is doing and he still finds a safe haven on Fox News in prime time. What’s going on?”
Not only is DeSantis getting away with ignoring a health crisis in his condition, he is being celebrated for it. At least in regards to its reception on Fox News.
