“I have not, and I will NOT withdraw.”
Pennsylvania Senate Speaker Jake Corman has blocked a full forensic audit in Pennsylvania for months and now blames State Senator Mastriano, who has spearheaded the charge of an audit in Pennsylvania.
After leading a delegation to tour Arizona’s full forensic election audit, Mastriano told The Gateway Pundit that “This is the blueprint.” He later held a private meeting with Republican senators to discuss funding for an audit in Pennsylvania.

Last week, Jake Corman released a statement in which he even lied about this, saying that State Senator Cris Dush led the investigation. In that statement, he also announced that Senator Mastriano had “withdrawn from conducting a forensic investigation.”

Senator Doug Mastriano gave his answer today.
Senator Mastriano responds to phase statements by Senator Jake Corman
In his opening statement on Friday, August 20, Senator Corman claimed that he was replacing me as the audit leader because I was “backing off grandly and uninterested in getting things done.” Senator Corman is not being honest. The truth is, we spent months informing Senator Corman and other leaders about our plan. During those many months, Senator Corman repeatedly avoided or blocked me.
On July 6, I spoke with Senator Corman. During that conversation, I communicated my intention to send letters to three counties requesting that they cooperate with a full forensic investigation of the 2020 general election and the 2021 primary election. Senator Corman demanded that I NO send those letters. After months of its clogging, it was time to move on. The next day, with the consent of my committee, I sent the letters. I finished waiting and let Corman put people off to no end.
After the expiration of the July 31st compliance, I tried twice to go ahead with the subpoenas, but was stopped by Senator Corman. I scheduled two separate meetings for the purpose of issuing subpoenas to those three counties. The first meeting was scheduled for August 6, and after Senator Corman prevented it from taking place, I rescheduled it for August 18. Senator Corman’s office also prevented that meeting from taking place. This is an obstruction by someone who does not want an audit.
If there was anyone “pulling out” from a 2020 election investigation, it was Senator Corman. While Senator Corman had a 22-year career as a politician, I served 30 years as a soldier in the US military, served throughout the Iron Curtain and fought in Iraq and Afghanistan. I never backed down from evil, and I wasn’t going to back down from Corman’s repeated attempts to thwart a forensic investigation.
Two days after Senator Corman obstructed my August 18 attempt to issue subpoenas, I made the difficult decision to tell Pennsylvanians the truth about why the forensic investigation was at a standstill. With a heavy heart, I appeared in Bannon’s war room on Friday, August 20. Moments after my appearance, Senator Corman nervously called up the same show and announced that he was stripping me of the investigation I had worked so hard to obstruct. Moments after Senator Corman’s appearance on that show, I was also informed that I had stripped my committee and removed all of my staff from the capital, rendering me unable to serve my constituents in Harrisburg, a move that many of my fellow senators. Feeling it was a scandalous and unprecedented move unfit for a Senate leader.
I don’t know why Senator Corman obstructed my investigation for so long or why he has now kidnapped it. What I do know is that if it were up to Senator Corman, there would be no investigation for him to steal. What I also know is that no matter who runs it, the investigation must go on. I know the people of Pennsylvania will never settle for a token investigation. They deserve nothing less than a full forensic investigation that gets to the bottom of what happened in the 2020 election, and I will be a relentless voice to make sure that is exactly what happens. I have not and I will not withdraw.
The question is why did Jake Corman go from ten months from obstructing a forensic investigation to suddenly abducting her and smearing the hard work we put in to make this happen. People need answers.
