As the death toll from the Kabul terror attack rises, Democratic Rep. Cori Bush reminds us of the sacrifices she made in the fight for an unconstitutional moratorium on evictions.

The death toll after yesterday’s deadly terror attack at Hamid Karzai International Airport in Kabul continues to rise:

But Democratic Rep. Cori Bush doesn’t want you to forget that she, too, has sacrificed.
After the Supreme Court ruled 6 to 3 (instead of 9-0, which is what it should have been) in favor of blocking Joe Biden’s moratorium on illegal eviction, Bush took the opportunity to remind everyone that she and his fellow warrior Democrats had been. through:
We were outside the Capitol for 5 days. Rain. Hot. Cold.
If you think that this partisan decision is going to prevent us from fighting to keep people housed, you are wrong.
Congress must act immediately. For every person homeless or soon to be homeless in our districts. https://t.co/Boi3rUaZ4Y

So proud was she for the price she had already paid and would gladly pay it again, that she made it her pinned tweet:
Let’s all pause for a moment of silence for Rep. Bush and her colleagues, who, let’s face it, might have had a cold and maybe even pneumonia or something, but at least they were wet and somewhat uncomfortable.
Wow all the way outside and everything. pic.twitter.com/2mj2mJwVZN

Your amazing bravery knows no limits?
He could have walked into the Capitol building and passed a law instead of relying on the president to issue an illegal executive order.

No, you are missing the point. Cori Bush was outside, damn it!
In the summer too https://t.co/a7HhDIdhVg

He had to subsist on Oreos. And prop yourself up on pillows that probably have some dirt on them!
The weather changed and everything.

Not just awesome, but brave too

We would expect nothing less.
You shouldn’t tell this to the people in the army. They will not be impressed.

Why not? Cori Bush is basically an American hero. It rained on him, for crying out loud!
My God…. All the photos and videos don’t do the sacrifice justice! https://t.co/a0HPH4iJ9T
