Cash tells McGowan to open 80% or face legal challenge
In a blatant political whistle, the attorney general has threatened the Western Australian prime minister with another legal challenge from Clive-Palmer.
Attorney General Michaelia Cash has a message for her home state of Western Australia: Open your border with an 80% vaccination rate or another legal challenge the size of Clive Palmer could emerge.
Cash said The australian that once those goals are met, the state may have less room to defend another legal challenge to its border closures. In November, the Superior Court unanimously rejected Palmer’s constitutional challenge to the hard border of WA.
